FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

AND SOME FREQUENT ANSWERS ↓

+ Why do I feel sick after a massage?

Nausea, headache and flu like symptoms can be a normal response to a massage. Massage pushes and moves fluid (metabolic waste) around causing the body to require more water intake.

+ Can I work out after my massage?

Please don't! Its recommended to wait up to 24 hours after a massage to exercise.

+ Do you only work with athletes?

While athletes make up most of my clientele, I work with all clients at all levels of fitness! Massage therapy isn't just for serious athletes - it will benefit all.

+ Will the massage hurt?

There is a fine line between a little discomfort and pain. Pain is never okay in a session so please speak up and let me, or any therapist, know how you're feeling. Remember: Communication is key!

+ What can I do during my massage?

Feel free to doze off, ask questions and communicate as needed.

+ How often should I get a massage?

That will depend on your individual goals and can be discussed during your appointment or as needed. I value open dialogue with my clients- any thoughts or concerns about a session or treatment plan is a welcomed conversation, even after the session ends.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

If you fail to cancel or modify your appointment prior to 48 hours before your onsite massage therapy appointment, you will be charged the full amount of your missed appointment.

+ What if I can’t make my appointment?

I understand that life happens, which is why you are able to cancel with no penalties up to 48 hours before your appointment. After that time, it becomes difficult to fit in clients on the waitlist. It becomes difficult to operate a business when appointment times aren’t met. Out of respect of your time and mine, the policy will be enforced.
